Behavior Interactions

How Behavior Interactions Work

Each behavior falls into one of the following categories:

Trigger

A "Trigger" behavior sends a single signal to a Traktor control does not have a range nor a state. Examples of "Trigger" behaviors include:

You can set the "Interaction" property of a "Trigger" behavior to one of the following:

Toggle

A "Toggle" behavior alternates the sending of an "on" or "off" signal to a Traktor state control. Examples of "Toggle" behavior include:

You can set the "Interaction" property of a "Toggle" behavior to one of the following value:

Map Control to Motion

A "Map Control to Motion" behavior maps a motion axis of the device to the percentage range (0% to 100%) of a value in Traktor; so you can change the value by moving your device.

Examples of "Map Control to Motion" behavior include:

A "Map Control to Motion" behavior has the follow properties you can configure:

We will now take an in-depth look at each of these properties.

The "Motion" property may be set to one of the following value:

Dive/Raise
Dive/Raise
Rotate
Rotate
Steer
Steer

The "Mapping Type" property may be set to one of the following values:

The "Reverse Mapping?" property may be set to one of the following values:

The "Sensitivity" property may be set to a value between 0.01x to 2.00x inclusive. It is a multiplier to the value change. 1.0x is the standard rate of increase. For example, sensitivity is set to 1.50x; the device is rotated to change equivalent to +20% in the value; the actual value change is 1.50 x 20% = 30%.

The "Interaction" property may be set to one of the following values:

Set Control Value

A "Set Control Value" sets a value to a Traktor range control. For example, we can use this behavior to set the filter value to 50%.

Examples of "Set Control Value" behavior:

A "Set Control Value" behavior has the following properties you can set:

The "Value" property is the control value to set, which is a value between 0.00% to 100.00% inclusively.

The "Interaction" property may be set to one of the following values:

Set On/Off

A "Set On/Off" behavior sets either an "on" or "off" value to a Traktor state control.

Examples of "Set On/Off" control include:

A "Set On/Off" behavior has the following properties you can set:

The "State" property should be set to the state (i.e. "on" or "off") you wish to set the state control to.

The "Interaction" property may be set to one of the following values:
